RAPTOR™ crash cushions are unique safety devices solely aimed at reducing the severity of vehicle impacts with utility poles and trees. The RAPTOR™ 300 is a compact system at just 2.4m long (total length) and 1.15m wide and can protect any shape of fixed object as long as it can fit within the 300x590mm void.
RAPTOR™ 600 is the larger of the 2 crash cushions with the capacity to protect larger objects than the RAPTOR™ 300. Whilst still compact, at just 2.7m long (total length) and 1.15m wide, it can protect any shape or fixed object as long as it can fit within the 600x590mm void.
RAPTOR™ crash cushions have satisfied NCHRP 350 TL-1 criteria.
